Dietitian Licensure Compact Updates

Montana’s Dietitian Licensure Compact bill passed 2025 legislative session and was signed into law by the Governor. Led by our sponsor and assisted by our members, the Public Policy Committee worked alongside the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, the Council of State Governments, and the Department of Defense to establish an interstate occupational licensure compact for Registered Dietitians.

Montana’s representative to the Dietitian Licensure Compact Commission, the governing body, has been selected and the initial Commission meeting held. For more information on the compact visit https://dietitianscompact.org/.
